A Different Way to Homeschool

Nature-Rooted, Inquiry-Based, and Meaningful Community for Families in Southwestern Connecticut & Upper Westchester

For families who:

Cherish a childhood and adulthood rooted in beauty, wonder, responsibility, seasonal rhythms, and a deep connection to the natural world.

Value hands-on learning and the life lessons that emerge through farming, stewardship, practical life skills, and meaningful work.

Seek meaningful community, authentic relationships, and shared experiences with like-minded families.

Value minimal screen use and prioritize opportunities for creativity, curiosity, exploration, conversation, and real-life experiences.

The Society is nestled on 11 acres of organic farmland, forests, and gardens in West Redding, CT providing a beautiful setting for community life and hands-on learning.

At the heart of the property is a warm and welcoming farmhouse, built in 2017, thoughtfully designed with a natural aesthetic. It features an expansive mudroom, a spacious common room, an upstairs kitchen and culinary classroom, and inviting learning spaces.
